A food-truck design competition was held for kids at our holiday camp in Singapore during the previous year’s November-December break (2021). Our students got a taste of what it’s like to be an entrepreneur by working on research, marketing, and pricing project. It also provided students with possibilities to be creative and practically have fun. Students had to learn how to create a firm from scratch, identify potential obstacles and devise strategies to overcome them, develop a 3D model to execute their strategy, and even make a real-time virtual pitch to an audience.
Programs of Enrichment
The Tots & Teddies enrichment programs always partner with carefully vetted external specialists to ensure children are exposed to the best learning experiences and life-ready skills. This was part of our enrichment programs at the Singapore school holiday camp we just organized. STEM and speech/drama were also featured.
The emphasis on hands-on learning involving real-world applications in STEM education fosters a variety of skill sets, including creativity, media and technology literacy, productivity, interpersonal skills, communication, adaptability, and initiative, in addition to basic scientific and mathematical ideas. Solving problems, critical thinking, creativity, a sense of wonder, the ability to make decisions, leadership, and entrepreneurship are just a few of the many skills that can be learned in STEM fields. As a result, they are more equipped to come up with new ideas thanks to these abilities.

Students might also take advantage of subject-specific preparation to prepare them for returning to school following the extended holiday.
